Tiffany Leaded Glass (DELETED)
Innovative Glass Creations of an Exquisite Nature
Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) was an American artist and designer who studied in New York and Paris. He went on to develop one of the most distinctive and recognisable styles in the Art Nouveau movement. He is most famous for his celebrated leaded glass windows and lampshades, but he also created glass mosaics, blown glass, ceramics, jewellery, enamels and metalwork. Our journal covers celebrate the brilliant, gem-like colours and elegant designs created by Tiffany and his artisans. The incorporation of leadwork as an integral part of the designs and the subtle and exquisite differences in shading within each portion of glass created objects of magical beauty.
