A5 - 312 pages. Black dry kangaroo leather with
extended leather flaps, designed for travelling the hard roads.
Based on the original Aviator
design, this version has extra flaps at the top and bottom plus
a strap at the fore edge of the pages to effectively seal the
book against the elements. The book is reinforced with double
layers of abbrasion-resistant kangaroo leather (16 separate pieces)
and 108 steel rivets. The adaptable cover closes with two internal
D-ring straps and two external hand-stitched leather belts with
polished buckles. The book is sewn in French style with two reinforcing
ribbons and riveted spinal insert. Red headbands. Four ridges
on spine. Pen holder located inside front flap. Black satin tasselled
bookmark. Black elephant hide endpapers.
